More detailed description: it has the bright yellow second dorsal fin, anal fins and tail. The anal fins will be lengthened with its age. Its top is dark metallic blue and its sides and belly are yellow to silver color. The yellowfin is found in all the worlds' warm waters except the Mediterranean and black seas. They are found between 45 n and 40 s.
Product characteristics: raw yellowfin is ruby red. When cooked, the meat turns off-white. The structure of the meat is quite firm, and the taste is mild.
If the fish gets larger than 10-15kg, the meat tends to become slightly darker and somewhat drier.
